The scene pulled at fans' heartstrings but Eliza admitted she had rehearsed the wrong script.


She opened up to SPILL: A Podcast by Think Eden Media, hosted by Lucas Jones and Shean Williams.

The star said she had spent weeks rehearsing an older draft version of the script, which had in fact been updated.

When she started reciting her lines, her co-star Alexander was confused, but she managed to pull everything back when she realised her mistake.

Reflecting on the moment, she said: "If anything it just threw me into the sense of, okay, you have just got to be listening to yourself because otherwise, this is going to be a nightmare.
